Josef Urbanec

Pepa graduated at the First Faculty of Medicine at the Charles University in Prague. Since 2018, he has been working as paediatrician a in the hospital of Havlíčkův Brod; simultaneously, he has been studying combined post-gradual programme at the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové, with a specialization in neurophysiology. In his studies he focuses on acquisition and perception of the mother tongue in newborns. He would like to turn this academic interest into practice and become a child neurologist or neonatologist, because in these areas he could use his knowledge of how the brain works and how people acquire their mother tongue.
