Kateřina Machová

Kateřina is a master’s student of Phonetics at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University and an undergraduate student of Speech Therapy at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. She is currently writing her master thesis, in which she compares the credibility assessment of speakers with foreign accents versus Czech speakers with speech impediments. However, in her professional career, she would like to focus mostly on balbutism and aphasia caused by a stroke. In addition to being a member of SPEAKIN LAB and teaching foreigners correct pronunciation in Czech, she spends her free time playing the ukulele, listening to LP records, and with her family.
